Ahudenya's Final Farewell

NEW FALKA — This weekend, the former Deputy Secretary Ahudenya si Dal was interred at the National Mausoleum in New Falka, the commune which she founded in 4 VE, originally called Taqa Najul.

Mourners filled the mausoleum as they paid respects to her body as it was surrounded by Zilatran banners and candles bearing the national colors. In line with her religious beliefs, Gonfist burial rites were read as she was interred.

She was murdered at the age of 121. She had spent the last few decades in retirement living with her husband — the honorable former Judge — Tal si Hala in their apartment together in Lasaji. She was killed in a bombing set up by anti-Xeroist extremists who have since been identified as Ischanorian nationals.

Born in 292 TE in the Baszku Kingdom during a period of brutal war and strife, Ahudenya is well remembered for her contributions to what would become the Zilatran Revolution in her youth. After the success of the revolution, she would lead Zilatra as the country's first Deputy Secretary where she oversaw much of the country's early internal development and set the groundworks for Zilatra's Xeroist framework.

For this reason, and much more, she is remembered as the Grandmother of Zilatra, and in our hearts, she will never die.
