Aimo Part 2: The New Zilatran
Crazyman was young, and new to the world, and struggled to find a place in a nation who had been so dominated by veterans of the old USSE. So instead, he focused on being the best citizen he could. Though somewhat strange and regarded as an oddball, he mangled to leave a mark on the town he lived in, Drudakroz, contributing to its growing construction in a time of flex. He added to conversations in public, jumping into any and every discussion when available. From the Centara-Zilatra discussions to the slow development of the Xeroist Union Party to the rivalry between Klara Serebra and Eksultant Prym to the new economic plans of Abusaja si Baqiya, in every category he was present and spoke his mid. In some cases, this led to trouble, such as when he was misled about the appropriateness of saying a certain slur that nearly resulted in his expulsion.
Over the months, he has certainly come close to being deported for various misdemeanours, and yet has stuck around in the hearts and spirit of the nation. His characteristic novelty and spontaneous lack of filter make for an unpredictable and exciting individual who is always simultaneously yearned for yet abhorred in every situation. His presence is ambivalent yet ubiquitous, inexperienced yet eager, new yet growing into his place. And this could be said about the New Zilatran.
The New Zilatran is one that is unburdened by legacy Zilatra, while having existed for more than 7 months at this point, still has yet to make its voice heard in the world outside its bubble. The New Zilatran is also one that contributes to society in what ways they can. Every citizen has their unique skillset, from arts to masterful building to grinding to rhetoric. Their contributions, without ever asking for much compensation in return, characterise the hardworking New Zilatran, who dwells not on their name in history or being the hero.
The New Zilatran is humble yet perseverant, steadfast against indignation. In the face of taunts from those base enough to dwell in their envy of the success of others, the New Zilatran ignores such frivolity and carries on with their work. The New Zilatran, while not a fighter or confrontational spearhead, is one who can weather the storm and build the dams higher each time. The New Zilatran is also unafraid to voice their opinions. They take advantage of the freedom of our republic to contribute their ideas and works to the good of the many, for the New Zilatran takes pride in their charity to society.
The New Zilatran is, in short, a novel kind of hard-working citizen. And they are the new definition of the great work that is the Xeroist Republic of Zilatra.
