Hello Zilatra, Hello Motherland, Deamo'zgou Returns

DEAMO'ZGOU — On the 2nd of February, our General and Deputy Secretary announced the liberation of the town of Deamo’zgou and its return to Zilatran hands. The announcement comes after months of the claim being controlled by the Vhagharian Empire following the Gallanian Crisis. This status emerged after a series of diplomatic misunderstandings led the leader of Gallania to misstep and preemptively withdraw his small nation from Zilatran protection, moving into the nation of Vladistan instead. In doing this, he carelessly neglected to give the claim to Zilatra and instead sold it off to someone else, eventually coming into the possession of Vhagharia. For a great period of time the claim remained in stasis, a ghost town in the middle of the growing nation of Zilatra. However, following talks between Vhagharia and Zilatra, our negotiators were able to buy the claim back and regain Deamo’zgou once again. It is still unclear how the town will be repurposed, but this shows great potential for us to make full use of the beloved land we possess. Zilatra Forever! ■
