KHORVIC DRAŽAN BRUTALLY MURDERED!
TRAGIC DEATH OF ZILATRAN STATESMAN
Transaria - Today Zilatra mourns, following the shocking and untimely death of comrade Khorvic Dražan, former Commissar of Culture, Vice Premier of the Kelitá, and Mayor of the Commune of Yaczya. Khorvic aged 59, passed away to injuries at the Transarian Hospital 32 minutes after being attacked this afternoon with a shanak sabre.
It is alleged that the weapon was wielded by his own wife, Assia Dražan. The accused was taken into custody by officers of the Zilatran Security Department, and now remains detained at Ebrim Hasz, pending proceedings on a charge of type C murder.
Reports suggest that the tragedy arose in circumstances of heavy drinking, with both Khorvic and Assia having indulged in consumption of alcoholic drinks for multiple hours before to the incident. This has stirred considerable public agitation, with a lot of people now calling for a national prohibition of alcohol. The Kelitá is putting such a measure on the agenda for its forthcoming session.
Comrade Khorvics passing marks the loss of a figure of considerable stature in Zilatran public life. Known as a devoted father, a steadfast friend, and a loyal servant to his people, he will be remembered with deep affection and respect. Across the land, the flags fly at half mast, and the people of Zilatra bow their heads in great grief.
