Ninth Kelitá in Session

On April 6th, a meeting was held in the Kelitá building in Gaszalasi, hosted by Premier Samintra Bahri. The session covered a variety of important topics, with many Representatives in attendance, though a few were absent due to unavoidable circumstances. Among the key items on the agenda were the review of current bills, including the Military Territories Bill (proposed by Comrade Ilyich Yefremovich), and the ongoing debate over the Kelitá voting system. This issue has been the subject of much discussion, both within the XUP Party Congress and in public forums, with a referendum proposed as a possible solution. As no conclusive decision has been reached yet, Comrade Leon Kerexon has taken it upon himself to propose a solution that incorporates feedback from fellow Representatives and earlier discussions. The session also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the General Secretary and the Commissars to ensure effective government functioning. Among the topics discussed were potential budget allocations for the Commissariats and the need for greater transparency when voting on treaties. The Commissar of Foreign Affairs, Comrade Note Kirizina, was asked to elaborate on the planned budget and further discussions with other Commissars are expected in the coming weeks. Another major topic was improving the Kelitá’s accessibility to the general public. Ideas such as using a Google form and organizing public meetings were suggested. These efforts aim to make the Kelitá more open to citizens, with future sessions expected to address even more pressing issues. Overall, the Ninth Kelitá meeting was productive, setting the stage for future discussions and actions on a range of topics affecting both the government and the public.
