GASZALASI — Just moments ago, according to on-the-ground reports, a protest had gathered in the capital of Gaszalasi that was brutally dispersed by armed Sentaran military officials.

The last two days have been filled with a drastically spiking "Independist" or "Zexit" movement, calling for the end to the de-facto Sentaran vassalization of Zilatra. The movement won one prior success, gaining economic sovereignty under General Secretary Iuminov, but for many, the end-goal of complete independence is not reached.

Protesters gathered in the National Square in Gaszalasi at noon to demand an end to the vassalization, and things began peacefully. However, protesters were met with a sudden group of armed Sentaran soldiers bearing the flag of Sentara. Almost immediately, the Sentarans opened fire on the peaceful protesters and began to barrage protesters with swords, blunt objects, and arrow-fire. At this point, the Zilatran protesters took arms and fought back. The amount of dead is as of yet unknown.

Public outcry has reached an absolute peak, as Zilatrans upon hearing the news got in boats and began to travel to Solatriya, the capital of Sentara to protest by holding the nation's historic palace in siege. Zilatrans were met with violence there as well.

The Partisan Chair Alisa Nikitina, just now, released a public statement pleading with members to remain civil and to join and await the findings of a Working Group dedicated to the matter.

The situation on the ground is ongoing.
