Results of the December Quillometer™
In the middle of December, the Crimson Quill "Quillometer™" survey was released from Zilatrans to complete over the course of a week. We'd like to thank everyone for responding, and following are the results. Happy Holidays and have a good December:
In total, we received 56 respondents, which is a massive jump from the last Quillometer count of 36 participants. Additionally, 98.2% were Full Citizens, showing how our population is maturing rather than going through any growth. From these individuals, 25% had their primary residence in Transaria, followed by 18% in Lasaji. The third most populous city was a tie between Gaszalasi and Agdah's Embrace, each having 7 responses and making up 13% of total responses (the forest people really pulled up!) Additionally, for this month's survey we also asked the participants if they had a secondary commune of residence, and what that would be if they had one. 59% of respondents had no secondary residence, while both Gaszalasi and Lasaji had the most secondary residences with 10.7% each. Marjuba followed with 7.1%, and the other communes had rather small counts of secondary residences. It appears people are rather committed to their main towns!
Onto the cultural section, the largest ethnicity for this survey was Baszku with 23% of responses, followed by 21% preferring not to answer. Lo'Oi has surprisingly fallen behind with only 14% of responses, while Druznoslav has a distant third place with 8% or responses, and the rest of the ethnicities are too small and diverse to mention. Meanwhile, Zilatra retains Atheism/Agnosticism as its largest religious subscription. 18% of respondents professed their adherence to Cubism, followed by 13% to Gonfism and 9% to Children of Ogõr. A minority comprised of Sentarans also responded with Arateanism, while the rest of the responses are too diverse to list.
Following with end of term approval ratings, Abusaja si Baqiya ended his GenSec term with an approval rating of 82% while DepSec Note Kiriznia finishes with 79% approval, both significantly surpassing the previous administration. Abusaja in particular far exceeds the approval of Serebra by 20%, a remarkable development. Meanwhile, Premier Szal si Ahuden received an approval rating of 78%, a very solid performance, while Partisan Chair Skamovic received 68%, which while exemplary is notably lagging behind the rest of the administration by at least 10 points.

Speaking of approval questions, the survey asked respondents how strongly they supported "a plan for Zilatra and Sentara as outlined in the open letter 'Dreams of a Federation'." In this survey, it received an approval rating of 75%, showing that Zilatrans are open towards closer relations with our sister country.
Last but not least, citizens around the nation voted on who their personal favourite commissar was, and watching the results roll in was interesting. Early on it seemed as though CONCOM Ivan Iuminov would make a clean sweep, but slowly others began to catch up. Sentarans clearly supported MILCOM Into al Solari, while myself (INFOCOM Prym) and FORCOM Toku'aui Ronango'O slowly gained. At a certain point, it became a razor-thin race between Luminov and Ronango'O, and for several days it looked to be a tie. But in the end, a single vote, from a citizen hailing from Agdah's Embrace, decided the race in favour ... of ...
It won't be released! The same question will be presented next census as a true vote to decide the favourite commissar, between FORCOM Ronango'O and CONCOM Luminov. Considering this is the way we choose our leaders, thus this silly question will be answered.
3rd place was INFOCOM Prym followed by 4th place MILCOM al Solari.
Merry Christmas Zilatra!
Editor's opinion: INFOCOM Prym should have won in a landslide.
