Sister Communes united under the Red Banner!

HAFUMEL — Summer 118VE (19.07.2025) As the sun rises over Zilatra visitors from the Federation of Luevyski, Sentara, begin to pour through the gates of the commune of Hafumel, Hajamal province, being welcomed by citizens and members of the municipal Council alike. Coming together to formalize the long awaited Sistership Agreement between the two communes, the occasion marked another step in strengthening ties between the communities of Zilatra and Luevyski.

The event began with a tour of Hafumel, culminating in a walk to the commune’s symbolic Cat Statue, before everyone gathered at the lecture hall of the University of Zilatra. There, speeches were delivered by the attending mayors of Hafumel, followed by a reading of the agreement text by Secretary Gafr of Luevyski. The formal signing of the Sistership Agreement concluded the ceremony, with the signatures of the attending Luevyskian citizens representing their community.

Following the ceremony in Zilatra, the delegation traveled to Sentara, where the celebration continued with tours, exchanges of gifts, and visits to the Luevyskian Fleet. Notably, two major gifts were exchanged: the “Catue of Liberty”, modelled after Hafumel's Symbol and a PT boat presented by Secretary Gafr.

The Sistership Agreement builds on the earlier Zilatra-Luevyski Naval Agreement, which established closer cooperation in ship design and naval strategy between the communities.

The signing and tours were well-attended by citizens and notable figures including former General Secretary Comrade Ivan Iuminov, members of the Zilatran Security Department, and Comrades Assia Drazhan and Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa, who represented Hafumel.

Public reaction in both communes was positive, with widespread support among citizens as was to be expected from earlier discussion. Future events, including sporting exchanges and the construction of the ceremonial gifts, are being considered.

Sister Commune Agreement

United under the Red Banner, we, the people of the Hafumel commune in the Xeroist Republic of Zilatra and the Federation of Luevyski hereby ratify this agreement. We swear to uphold our principles of democracy and revolutionary spirit. This document legally binds these two communities as sisters.
