The Dissolution of Sahriya

Gaszalasi — The Holy Empire of Sahriya, founded in 32VE, has now dissolved in 162VE. In a public statement, the Holy Empire of Sahriya stated that following a majority vote of their High Council, they have chosen to dissolve into several successor states. The Holy Empire of Sahriya and our Xeroist Republic of ZIlatra, in Autumn of 124VE, had signed a mutual defence pact, pledging to defend each other should war be declared upon them. This lasted from its signing to the dissolution of the Holy Empire of Sahriya and demonstrated the friendship between our two nations. We bid farewell to the Holy Empire of Sahriya, knowing that whilst history may now claim them, the bond we shared will not be forgotten. Finally, It is with the passing of this monumental nation that we now can observe many new states emerging from its ashes, ones we should greet with an outstretched hand and open arms, just as we have done many times in the past.
