January 2025 Zilatran Census

Dr Ovonia Ronango'O provides her analysis and commentary on the results of the Zilatran census.

GASZALASI — Yesterday evening, the Partisan Chair released the long awaited January Census results. The census had a total of 140 respondents, breaking prior records. The next Kelitá will have 15 seats afforded to it as a result.

Among the demographic data that was recorded, several notable population shifts have been noted. Notably, Transaria has seen a 13.2% increase in population, making it the largest commune by active population. This has been accredited to the efforts of Mayor Mia Zikovika. Other results indicated that 59.5% are of legal adult age, 7.7% are members of the Xeroist Union Party, and the most spoken languages are English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, and Arabic.

Perhaps the most fascinating information to come out of the Census has been economic data. The active gross domestic funds (AGDF) of Zilatra has been recorded as R3,708,980, a 3.5% decrease from the last Census. However, what seems to have taken the larger hit is the per capita statistic, which was recorded at R27,473, a 19.2% decrease. These results have been attributed to Zilatran aid sent to Sentara in Tristqn's War. Economists have stated that numbers are expected to rise to normal levels now that the war has concluded. Nonetheless, the lower economic growth has brought warranted concern to workers in Zilatra, as this is the first decline in liquid money of any kind to happen since the inactivity spurt last year in June. These census results have also indicated that the agricultural industry has also grown significantly in the last month in Zilatra, likely also a consequence of the war effort and the need for experience.

In other news, religious demographics have changed drastically since November. Cubism has been recorded as the largest religion in Zilatra, at 9.7% of the population. This is because of both a drastic decrease in the number of atheists in the nation, now only being around 58.2% of the population, and also the gradual decline of Gonfism. This is likely to spark movements for religious growth as atheism decreases, but no singular religion has yet to take a hold of Zilatra's spiritual population. ◾︎
