PRESS CONFERENCE BY THE GENERAL SECRETARY!
Gaszalasi — Following the release of several news releases regarding ongoing murders in Lasaji, the strangulation of a secretary in the Kelitá building, and the death of former Deputy Secretary, Comrade Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa, the recently elected General Secretary, Comrade Sifii Uztyur:k held a press conferecne by the Office of the General Secretary.
The following is a transcript of the press conference:
Comrade Sifii Uztyur:k: "Citizens of Zilatra, I was recently informed on the death of our beloved Comrade Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa, and the possible connections to the ongoing deaths in Lasaji attributed to the so-called "Glass-Shard Killer. I wish to speak to every concerned citizen about this. The ZSD has ongoing investigations to these events, and rest assured, anyone found responsible for any of these deaths will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. With that said, I must ask that you refrain from sharing unverified information, that will cause panic and unrest. There is no use for it.
I do not believe that there is a severe threat to the life and liberty of the citizens of Zilatra; while these are uncertain times, as long as we remain vigilant, and cautious, I am sure that we will be safe. If you see anything suspicious, or concerning, please reach out to the ZSD, who will take any information you can provide them seriously. They are here to protect us."
Comrade Julia Lia, Reporter for the Crimson Quill: "Does the ZSD have a suspect for the ongoing murders in Lasaji, and, if they do, do they believe they may also be responsible for the death of Comrade Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa?"
Comrade Sifii Uztyur:k: "I have no comment on any ongoing investigations by the ZSD, including on the murders in Lasaji, and the tragedy of Comrade Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa. However, I must urge people not to draw conclusions regarding the potential for correlation between these events, as no solid evidence has been prevented. Thank you."
