Zilatra Celebrates Anniversary Day!
LASAJI — Yesterday, Zilatrans from across the country celebrated Jyalaya Aja, or Zilatran Anniversary Day. The in-game festivities brought out around fifty people, and celebrants enjoyed their days with comrades from sunrise to sundown. Activity has surged in Zilatra since the election season in an era where much of Stoneworks is slowly being suffocated by inactivity, including in nearby nations.
According to one Stoneworks admin who watched the events, we likely placed a record for the longest ever single event on Stoneworks, as it lasted over six hours of straight festivities. The games for the evening included ice-boat relay racing, Transarian pit-fighting, horseback archery races, competitive archery, and the Sixth Maxim Bell katruji (Zilatran chess) tournament.
The victors of the evening included the likes of Netekys Ozturk in pit-fighting, General Secretary Alisa Nikitina in archery, Stoneworks newcomer Duhadi si Czan in katruji, Samintra Bahri-Iletriosa in horseback archery, and Sotodrew in ice-boat racing.
The celebrants toured the country for the various sports, beginning at the Ahudenya Atabta in Lasaji, before travelling to Gaszalasi, Transaria, Yaczaya, and A-Kajden. At one point, foreigners even came to the protected event for a raid only to be surprised by the fun, saying they intended on bringing back the game of katruji to their home country of New Port Stoner and staying to watch until the server crashed.
The foreigner and newfound Stoneworks player Duhadi si Czan, who won the Maxim Bell and is now one of six Grandmasters of the sport, reported being captivated by Zilatra, and now intends on applying for citizenship after seeing the event. In under forty-eight hours, he practiced the sport in voice chats and with their own real-world father, sweeping (the words of his competition, not mine) the very skilled opponents which included the Zamotzian player Iuniori Flori Prym-Ronango'O and the Harjuban native Isaré Ronango'O.
